Mitchell wins ESD gymnastics title

WATERTOWN, S.D. (SportScene staff reports) – Mitchell captured the Eastern South Dakota Conference gymnastics championship on Saturday. The Kernels scored 146.8 points. Watertown finished second with 143.55, and Harrisburg was third with 143.25. Aberdeen Central took seventh with 133.95.

Mitchell’s Joslin Sommerville won the all-around crown with 37.45 points. Brooke Bollinger of Watertown was second with 37.1.

Central was led by Maggie Fites, who finished 10th in all-around with 35.4 points.
