Class AA Track and Field Leaders

Aberdeen Central has moved into the top spot in the Class AA girls’ sprint medley relay.

The Golden Eagles clocked a time of 4:17.16 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays last weekend, finishing second to Bismarck Century in that event. Members of the squad include Abigail Witte, Brooklyn Kusler, Abby Kopecky and Melanie Jacobs.

Meanwhile Johanna Jarrot has moved up in the high jump. The freshman is now tied for third in that event.

Makenna Glanzer is tied for fifth in the pole vault.

Sam Rohlfs continues to lead the Central boys. The junior is second in both the long jump and triple jump. He has the fifth fastest time in the 100 and eighth best time in the 200. He is also a member of the 800-meter relay squad which has the seventh best time.

Josh Martin is second in the 1,600 and 3,200, and Daniel Street is sixth in the 1,600 and fourth in the 3,200. Both are members of the 3,200-meter relay which has the fourth best time.

Jacob Merxbauer is third in the triple jump.
