Class B Track and Field Leaders

A couple of new Class B state leading times were recorded in meets on Tuesday.

Alec Maier of North Central clocked a 1:59.38 at the Lake Region Conference meet to move into first place in the 800-meter run. Stevie Wittler of Sully Buttes moved into first place in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles after running a :48.25 at the Capitol City Qualifier.

LRC athletes continue to have a stellar spring. Cody Larson of Warner is first in the 1,600 and 3,200, and second in the 800. Zander Widener of Langford Area is first in the 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles. Isaac Sumption of Frederick is tied for second in the 100-meter dash and is third in the 200. Jackson McNeil of Warner is second in the shot put. Eric Severson of Ipsiwch is second in the discus. Kade Larson of Langford Area is second in the triple jump.

Hank Kraft of Timber Lake is tied for first in the high jump and also leads the triple jump.

Emily Breske of Dakota Hills leads the high jump.
