It was a rough night for the Aberdeen Smittys at Fossum Field Tuesday night.

Bismarck rolled into town and rolled to a 14-0 six-inning victory over the Smittys in American Legion baseball action. The visitors pounded out 22 hits and took advantage of four Aberdeen errors in the contest.

The North Dakotans led 3-0 after the first three frames, before taking control with four runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, and three more in the sixth.

Meanwhile, the Smittys had just one hit in the game, that coming on a double by Aiden McCafferty.
