Circus rolls past Northville 16-5

The Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar remained unbeaten with a 16-5 amateur baseball victory over the Northville Merchants at Fossum Field Wednesday night. Circus, 12-0 on the season, scored five times in the first and five times in the second to set the tone for night. The local squad added six more in the fifth. Chad Ellingson four hits to top Circus, which had 16 hits in all. Michael Babcock and Dalton Cox each had three hits. Circus also took advantage of five Northville errors. Ryan Ellingson drove in a team-leading five runs in the victory. Cox contributed four runs batted in. Max Otto struck out four batter in three innings of work on the mound for Circus.
