LEOLA – Ipswich exploded for 46 unanswered points to clinch the Lake Region Conference football championship with a 62-20 win over Leola-Frederick Friday night.
Carson Gohl, Ty Kadlec, Tyler Hettich and Colby Sylte each scored two touchdowns for the Tigers, who improved to 6-1 on the season.
Hans Lapka rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns to power Leola-Frederick, which led 20-14 before Ipswich pulled away.
