A group of Aberdeen Swim Club members signed on to compete in college this past week during National Signing Day.

Three girls will continue to swim, while another member of the ASC will participate in a different sport in college.

Genevieve Jorgenson will swim for the University of Nebraska, Alexia Hoven will swim for the University of Sioux Falls, and Halle Kuck will swim at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Jorgenson finished as the overall high-point winner in the girls’ 17-19 age group at last summer’s state meet.

A fourth member of the Swim Club, Jacob Angerhofer, will attend Northern State and run for the Wolves. Angerhofer helped lead Aberdeen Central to a third place finish in team points during the Class AA portion of the State Cross Country Meet last month in Sioux Falls.
