Clark-Willow Lake runner-up at Webster Invitational

WEBSTER – Pipestone, Minn., edged Clark-Willow Lake for the team title during the Webster Invitational wrestling tournament on Thursday.

The Minnesotans scored 140 points, while CWL finished with 136.5. Sisseton was third with 124.5.

Clark-Willow Lake had three individual champions: Gunnar Kvistad at 152 pounds, Lucas Kannegieter at 182, and Kasey Michalski at 195.

Sisseton and Groton each had two champs. Kayden Tchida (98) and Ethan Skarnagel (Hwt.) won titles for Sisseton, while Cael Larson (138) and Caleb McGregor (220) won titles for Webster.

Groton’s Christian Ehresmann was the champion at 145 pounds.
