REDFIELD – Katie Rozell scored on an offensive rebound with 25 seconds left to give Redfield a lead and Chelsea Smith added a free throw with six seconds remaining for the final margin in a 44-42 win over Groton in Northeast Conference girls’ basketball Monday night.
Camryn Rohlfs had 12 points and Gracie Fast 11 for the Pheasants, who trailed by nine heading into the final quarter.
Allyssa Locke’s 10 points topped a balanced attack for Groton.
