Northern State swept a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference basketball doubleheader over Mary at Wachs Arena Saturday in much different fashion. The Wolves rallied from an 11-point second-half deficit to win the women’s game 66-59, while the NSU men rolled to an 82-49 victory.

The Northern women closed its victory on a 15-0 run. The Wolves trailed 61-59 with 1:47 left before Kailee Oliverson scored back-to-back baskets to put the hosts in front. From there, Northern made five free throws in the final 30 seconds to ice the win.

Oliverson led the Wolves with 25 points. Laurie Rogers finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds and nine blocked shots. Haley Johnson added 10 points.
