Redfield defends NEC wrestling title

SISSETON – Redfield, on the strength of seven individual champions, won its fourth straight Northeast Conference wrestling title on Thursday night.

The Pheasants finished with 198.5 points. Milbank Area was runner-up with 152.5 points, while Sisseton was third with 120.5 points.

Redfield received championships from Brady Risetter, Mason Whitley, Mason Fey, Corbin Schwartz, Sean Domke, Gavin Nichols and Grady Fey.

Sisseton won four weight classes. The Redmen received titles from Holden Hawkins, Ian Metz, Boe Iverson and Carter Metz.
