PLANKINTON – Redfield had four individual champions on the way to winning the team title at the Mount Vernon-Plankinton-Corisca-Stickney Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.

The Pheasants finished with 263 points to top the field. Champions included Brady Risetter at 106 pounds, Mason Fey at 160, Corbin Schwartz at 182, and Grady Fey at heavyweight.

Webster’s Cael Larson won the 145-pound title.

COSSACK AVALANCHE

VOLGA – Kingsbury County won the team title at the Cossack Avalanche tourney on Saturday. Deuel was third and Groton fourth.

Deuel individual champions included Gavin Kloos at 126, Jaxon Quail at 132 and Justin Granum at 195.

Groton individual champs included Christian Ehresmann at 145, and Lane Krueger at heavyweight.
