IPSWICH – Ipswich bolted out to a 17-5 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 44-32 Lake Region Conference boys’ basketball win over Faulkton Thursday night.

Ian Beyers had 13 points and Taylor Thorson 10 to lead a balanced Ipswich attack. Trevor Beyers contributed nine and Carson Gohl added eight.

Layne Cotton’s 14 points led Faulkton.
