Britton-Hecla gymnasts win Deuel Quad

CLEAR LAKE – Britton-Hecla won the team championship at the Deuel Quadrangular gymnastics meet on Tuesday night.

The Braves scored 127.150 points. Deuel was second and Sisseton fourth.

Sterling Mertens of Britton-Hecla won the vault and bars, while Ava Teveldal was first on beam.

Deuel’s Hannah Cutshaw took all-around honors. Teammate Elise Hotzler was first in floor.

Mertens was second in all-around.
