Owen DuBois scored in the first minute and final minute of action to help lead the Aberdeen Wings to a 5-3 NAHL victory over the St. Cloud Norsemen Friday night at the Odde Ice Center. The Wings scored three first period goals to set the tone for the night and never trailed in the contest. DuBois found the back of the net just 17 seconds into the game. The visitors did stay within striking distance, thanks to a pair of second-period goals, and trailed just 4-3 heading into the final 20 minutes of action before DuBois iced the victory with an empty netter. Hugo Gustafsson and Larry Schmuck also scored first-period goals for the Wings, while Seamus Campbell had a second-period goal for the hosts. Kyle Gaffney assisted on a pair of the goals, while Schmuck also added an assist. St. Cloud finished with 10 more shots on goal than the Wings, but Aberdeen goalie Dominik Wasik finished with 35 saves in the victory.
