WOLSEY – James Valley Christian outscored Wolsey-Wessington 16-8 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 49-44 win during the Region 3B girls’ basketball tournament Tuesday night.

Alexa Goertz scored six points and Karilyn Wieting five in the final period to help key the victory.

Wieting finished with 19 points, Brenna Held 10, and Goertz nine for the Vikings, who trailed by three after the third quarter.

Hailey Clarke led all scorers with 20 points for Wolsey-Wessington, which ended the season at 13-8. Leah Williams added 10.
