NSU women fall to St. Cloud State

SIOUX FALLS – The Northern State women’s basketball season came to a close Saturday in a 61-50 setback to St. Cloud State during the quarterfinals of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women’s basketball tournament at the Sanford Pentagon.

The Wolves led 29-24 at the break before being outscored 37-21 in the second half.

Kailee Oliverson led Northern with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Rianna Fillipi added 11 points, and Haley Johnson contibuted nine points and nine rebounds.
