Annual basketball all-star games Saturday in Summit

SUMMIT – The 22nd annual B-103 high school basketball all-star games will take place Saturday in Summit.

The event includes groups of Class A and Class B seniors from northeast South Dakota competing against each other, along with three-point shooting contests and a slam dunk contest. Action gets started at 2 p.m. at the Summit High School Gym.

The squads will be coached by a pair of former high school coaches. Terry Nelson will coach the Class B teams, while Cal Schubert will coach the Class A teams.

Here is a look at each of the rosters:

Class A Boys: Ethan Paulson and Andrew Schroeder of Florence-Henry; Jayden Zak and Kaden Kurtz of Groton; Stevie Ash, Kellen Hoeke, Karson Weber, Bennett Schwenn and Wylie Mursu of Milbank Area; Riley BraveBull and Ty Langager of Sisseton; Perry Lufkins of Tiospa Zina; and Tayne Dunse, Jacob Pereboom and Jaydon Keller of Webster.

Class B Boys: Aidan Fredrickson of Britton-Hecla; Benjamin Gustafson, Aden Godel and Brayden Peterson of Langford Area; J Gulbraa, Seth Gaikowski, Darius Small, Wyatt Lawrence and Logen Tomac of Waubay-Summit; Carter Comes of Waverly-South Shore; Parker Steege, Brayden Ebben and Trey Jurgens of Wilmot; and Jakobe Anderson, Jacob Lick, Dominick Anderson and Lewis Ceroll of Tri-State.

Class A Girls: Carlie Moe of Florence-Henry; Allyssa Locke and Alyssa Thaler of Groton; Tatum Berry of Milbank Area; Veronica Rice and Hailey Nelson of Sisseton; and Jaiden Bauer and Alivia Baumgarn of Webster.

Class B Girls: Chloe Furman and Jenna Werner of Britton-Hecla; Katherine Jensen of Langford Area; Tasha Zirbel of Waubay-Summit; and Madeline Remund, Marissa Getzlaff and Paris Red Thunder of Wilmot.
