BRITTON – Britton-Hecla pulled away from a two-point halftime lead and grabbed a 62-38 win over Wilmot during the opening round of the Region 1B boys’ basketball tournament on Monday night.
Aidan Fredrickson scored 21 points, 14 in the second half, to lead a balanced attack for the Braves. Dawson Treeby contributed 10, Landon Carlson nine, and BoDell Davidson and Ashton Mills eight apiece.
Trey Jurgens topped Wilmot with 16 points.
