A pair of Milbank Area boys continue to rank among the Class A leaders this spring.
Nick Batchelor has the top time in the 800-meter run, and is currently second in both the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs. The senior is also a member of the 1,600-meter relay team and sprint medley relay squads that have the fastest times in the division, and also the 3,200-meter relay foursome which moved into third this week.
Senior teammate Bennett Schwenn leads the triple jump, is second in the long jump, is third in the 200-meter dash, tied for fifth in the 100, and also runs on 1,600 and medley relays, as well as the 400-meter relay which is fifth and the 800-meter relay which is second.
Tyler O’Neill of Clark-Willow Lake is second in the 800, sixth in the 1,600 and runs on a 1,600-meter relay which has the third best time in Class A.
Webster’s Drew Reetz is second in the pole vault, while Karson Weber of Milbank Area is tied for fourth.
In the girls’ division, Hamlin’s Gracelyn Leiseth continues to lead the shot put and discus with teammate Kami Wadsworth third in both events.
Milbank Area has the fourth best time in the sprint medley relay and is fifth in the 1,600-meter relay.
Redfield’s Camryn Rohlfs has the fifth best long jump this spring.
