Potter County girls, Faulkton boys control relays at Charger Invitational

ONIDA - The Potter County girls and the Faulkton boys each claimed three relay victories during the Charger Invitational track and field meet on Thursday. Potter County won the 1,600, medley and 3,200 meter relays during the event. Rayel Persoon and Emma Schlachter ran on all three of those first place squads. Dannika Kaup and Kirstie Lake were members on a pair of winning relays. Meanwhile, Faulkton claimed wins in the 1,600, medley and 3,200 meter relays. Simon Bowar and Hunter Niederbaumer both ran on all three of those teams. Alex Sorensen and Roman DiMaria each ran on two winning relay squads. Timber Lake's Hank Kraft turned in a perfect day, winning the 100 and 200 meter dashes, the long jump and running on the winning 800-meter relay team. Lyman's Skyler Volmer also won four events, taking the 100, high jump, long jump and triple jump.
