Potter County girls, HSA boys win Yellowstone Trail Conference titles

ONIDA – Potter County won the girls’ team crown, while Herreid-Selby Area captured the boys’ team title during the Yellowstone Trail Conference track and field meet Thursday.

Brenden Begeman won three individual events for HSA: the shot put, long jump and triple jump. Potter County’s Nicholas Schlachter won the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs.

On the girls’ side, Stevie Wittler of Sully Buttes won the 100-meter and 300-meter intermediate hurdles, while Kayden Cronin of Potter County won the high jump and the long jump.
