Potter County runners grab multiple wins at Pierre meet

PIERRE – A group of Potter County distance runners had a solid day during the Bob Judson Invitational track and field meet on Tuesday.

Peyton Stevens of Potter County won the 1,600-meter run with teammates Rayel Persoon third and Tori Cook fourth. Stevens also won the 3,200.

Emma Schlachter won the 800-meter run with Persoon third and Cook eighth.

The Potter County foursome of Schlachter, Kirstie Lake, Jaydn Ahlemeier and Dannika Kaup won the 3,200-meter relay.

On the boys’ side, the Battlers’ Nicholas Schlachter won the 1,600-meter run and as well as the 3,200.
