Redfield blanks second straight foe

CASTLEWOOD – The Redfield Muskrats broke a scoreless tie with six runs over the final three innings in a 6-0 victory over Castlewood-Deuel in high school baseball action Sunday afternoon.

Peyton Osborn threw a complete-game two-hitter, striking out a dozen batters.

In two games so far this season, Redfield has not allowed a run and just three total hits.

The Muskrats scored the only runs they needed against Castlewood-Deuel when Keaton Rohlfs had a two-run double in the top of the fifth inning. Rohlfs finished with two hits and four runs batted in.

Camen Osborn, who also doubled, led Redfield’s 12-hit attack with four hits. Easton Millar also added two hits.

The Muskrats are now off until hosting Howard, and Wolsey-Wessington-Miller on Monday, April 18.
