Redfield extends baseball winning streak to six

MADISON – The Redfield Muskrats picked up two more high school baseball victories on Saturday, defeating Madison 8-2 and stopping Baltic 4-1.

Owen Osborn delivered the big hit against Madison, driving in three with a bases-loaded triple to left centerfield in the second inning. Osborn also had a sacrifice fly to finish with four runs batted in.

Camden Osborn and Erik Salmen each had two hits in the victory, and Osborn scored three times.

Owen Osborn came on in relief in the third inning and did not allow a run, striking out five batters.

Redfield scored single runs in each of the first three innings against Baltic.

Camden Osborn added two more hits in that win. The Muskrats, who received doubles from Keaton Rohlfs and Peyton Osborn, were outhit in the contest, but took advantage of four Baltic errors.

Redfield is now 6-0 on the season.
