Webster boys finish second at Centerville meet

CENTERVILLE – The Webster boys won six events on the way to a second place finish at the Centerville Invitational on Tuesday. The Bearcats were fifth in girls’ team points.

Jaydon Keller won the javelin and triple jump and was second in the long jump, while Drew Reetz finished first in the pole vault and ran on a pair of winning relay teams.

Tayne Dunse won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles for the Bearcats and ran on one winning relay squad. Carson Mount and Trey Dunse each ran on a pair of winning relays.

Jaiden McCreary was second in the high jump, while Jacob Keller was second in the triple jump and third in the long jump.

Webster claimed the top three spots in the girls’ pole vault. Emily Richie won the event, followed by teammates Erin Case and Annie Witt.

Rylee Huwe was second in the 400-meter dash, and Elliott Steiner was second in the high jump.
