AUSTIN, Minn. – The Aberdeen Wings scored four goals in the final period to rally past Austin 4-2 in the opening game of their NAHL hockey series Friday night.

Trailing 2-0 heading into the third period, Seamus Campbell scored back-to-back goals to tie the contest within the first five minutes of the frame. Dominic Schimizzi then put the Wings ahead on a goal with less than two minutes remaining.

Jacob Bosse provided the final margin with an empty netter in the closing minute.

Aberdeen outshot the Bruins 21-5 over the final two periods after being outshot by four to start the contest.

As a result of the victory, the Wings now own the home-ice advantage with two of the next three games scheduled for the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen next weekend.

Game two of the best of five series takes place in Austin this evening.
