Muskrats cap undefeated regular season

REDFIELD – The Redfield Muskrats blanked Sioux Valley 7-0 in high school baseball action to wrap up an undefeated regular season Monday night.

The Muskrats had seven hits, seven walks and took advantage of four Sioux Valley errors in the contest.

Redfield jumped in front with four runs in the second inning. Camden Osborn had a key two-out single.

The hosts added two more runs in the third when Peyton Osborn and Fehi Faolenua had back-to-back doubles.

Osborn allowed just two hits over six frames on the mound.

Keaton Rohlfs had two hits to lead a balanced attack for the Muskrats, who improved to 13-0 on the season.

Redfield will start post-season play on Sunday at the top seed in Region 2B against an opponent to be determined.
