LONDON, England – Former Webster standout Logan Storley is a world champion.

Storley won a split decision Friday night in his Bellator welterweight bout with Michael ‘Venom’ Page. Storley won by totals of (48-47, 47-48, 49-46) of judges scoring the fight.

Storley was able to gain a chance at the title bout when champion Yaroslav Amosov withdrew from the match with Page to fight for his homeland Ukraine following the Russian invasion.

Amosov handed Storley his only setback in a split decision in November 2020.

Storley won six state wrestling championships while competing at Webster and earned the Hodge Award given to the nation’s outstanding wrestler. He then wrestled four years at the University of Minnesota.
