Top-rated Redfield adds pair of victories

REDFIELD – The unbeaten Redfield Muskrats won a pair of lopsided high school baseball games to remain unbeaten on the season. The top-rated squad defeated Hamlin 15-0 on Friday night before rolling past Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 17-1 on Saturday.

Fehi Faonelua had three hits and Elijah Morrissette drove in three runs in a three-inning win over Hamlin.

The Muskrats exploded for 10 runs in the first inning in their win over Oldham-Ramona-Rutland. Easton Millar had three hits and drove in three runs, and Seth Siebrecht also knocked in three in the victory. Camden Osborn and Peyton Osborn each scored three runs.

Meanwhile, Ashton Remily struck out eight batters in four innings of work on the mound.

Redfield is back in action today hosting Elkton (5-2) and second-rated Parkston (11-1) at 2 and 4 this afternoon.
