Birnbaum clocks sub-four minute mile

SEATTLE, Wash. – Rapid City Stevens standout Simeon Birnbaum ran a time of 3:59.51 on the way to winning the mile run during the Brooks PR Invitational on Wednesday. The time was a meet record.

Birnbaum is just the 17th high school runner in history to run the event in less than four minutes and the fifth runner this season.

Birnbaum will be a senior at Stevens.
