Circus blanks Groton in amateur action

GROTON - Karson Hesser collected five hits and knocked in five runs to help power Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar past Groton Locke Electric 13-0 in amateur baseball action Tuesday night. Max Otto and Lucas Heiser combined on a three-hit shutout. Otto went the first six innings before Heiser worked the seventh. Tyler Oliver had three hits and Michael Babcock two in the 17-hit attack for Aberdeen. Kelly Coates and Tyler Newman each drove in a pair. Circus moved to 6-1 on the season with the victory.
