Circus rolls past Miller in amateur baseball

MILLER – The Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar took advantage of 11 hits, 12 walks and five Miller errors on the way to an 18-1 amateur baseball victory Sunday.

Circus scored seven times in the first inning before exploding for 11 runs in the sixth.

Tyler Newman and Kelly Coates each had two-run singles to fuel the first-inning uprising.

Michael Babcock had a two-run single and Jacob Beuster had a two-run double in the sixth-inning, which featured six hits, three walks and four errors.

Ryan Ellingson, Max Otto, and Aiden McCafferty each finished with two hits for Circus, which improved to 7-1 on the season. Coates, Otto, and Newman each drove in three runs, while Ellingson, Babcock and Beuster each plated a pair.
