Circus improves to 10-1 with win over Northville

NORTHVILLE – Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar pounded out 18 hits to go along with 18 walks on the way to a 23-2 win over the Northville Merchants in amateur baseball action Friday night.

Aiden McCafferty homered twice, doubled and drove in four runs to lead Circus, rated second in the final Class A poll. The squad is now 10-1 on the season.

Kelly Coates had a pair of hits and also drove in four runs. Ryan Ellingson and Spencer Sudbeck each finished with three hits, while Dalton Cox and Tyler Oliver also had a pair of hits for Aberdeen, which had half of its hits in a nine-run seventh inning.

Circus plays at Castlewood on Sunday.
