MADISON – Every member of the Aberdeen Roncalli girls’ tennis squad came away with at least one victory at the Madison Invitational tournament, which wrapped up Saturday in Madison.

Katherine Kretchman, River Haskell, Raley Haskell and Kiera Rivett each had singles victories, while the doubles teams of Kretchman and River Haskell, and Raley Haskell and Anna Mitzel each came away with a victory, as well.

The event was intended to be a two-day affair with singles play on Friday and doubles action on Saturday. Rain and weather conditions pushed the bulk of Friday’s action to Saturday instead.

“I still continue to see lots of room for improvement, but have also seen the girls beginning to make strides forward,” said Roncalli coach Jason Haskell. “I’m looking forward to the coming weeks as we prepare for the main push of the season.”

Roncalli will head to the Brookings Jamboree next weekend.
