SIOUX FALLS - The Aberdeen Roncalli tennis team split a pair of matches Saturday, falling first to Yankton in a 9-0 sweep, but bouncing back for a 6-3 victory over Sioux Falls Roosevelt in the nightcap. “It was nice to get another team victory,” said Roncalli coach Jason Haskell. Saturday marked the second time that the Cavaliers had faced Yankton this season, though Haskell noted that all of Roncalli’s players moved up one slot for Saturday’s dual. Still, the Gazelles proved to be a tough matchup to begin the day for the Cavaliers. Haskell noted that River Haskell turned in a solid performance after a slow start at No. 2 singles. She found her stride mid-match, Coach Haskell said, and battled back into contention in a 10-7 loss.
