As SD SportScene heads into the back half of its second full season we just want to thank all of our sponsors and subscribers for your support. We couldn’t do it without you.

Momentum is a strong element in sports and we feel that we have some on our side at SD SportScene. It has been a remarkable first 19 months and we are gearing up for even bigger and better things ahead.

I am beyond excited to announce a couple of special additions to the site thanks to a pair of generous sponsors. SD SportScene will soon have its own app sponsored by Dacotah Bank. It will be available free to all current subscribers. We believe it will allow easier access to all the premium content the site has to offer.

And speaking of premium content, today is the debut of the Schwan Financial Premier Performers of the Week. The list can be found on our home page and will be updated each Monday highlighting the top performers of the previous week. It will be recap of the best of the best in our coverage area.

Not only that, but there are a couple of other additions to the site as well. You may notice that the top navigation bar now lists a Scoreboard section. You will be able to find scores from around the state in that location on a regular basis. We will also be providing the top weekly bowling scores from the Village Bowl. And as some of you may have noticed, we are also in a partnership with Aberdeen Magazine, providing stories for that publication.

These are exciting times for those of us at SD SportScene and for our dedicated supporters. We do not plan on slowing down any time soon with other exciting additions in the works for the future. We have added six more high school teams to our coverage area and our list of sponsoring businesses has grown to include eight different cities. Subscribers can be found in multiple states. As a result, SD SportScene continues to be one of the fastest growing websites in the region. And for that, again we humbly say thank you. The outpouring of support has been nothing short of overwhelming.
