Because of temperatures forecast to be in the 90s on Thursday afternoon, the annual Salmi-Sahli cross country meet has been moved up to Thursday morning at Lee Park Golf Course.
The event, the only home meet of the season for Aberdeen Central, was originally scheduled to start at 3 p.m., but will now get underway at 10 a.m.
The schedule of events has the junior varsity girls at 10 a.m., followed by the JV boys at 10:30 a.m. The varsity girls’ race is set for 11 a.m. and the varsity boys’ race at 11:30 a.m. Middle school girls will run at noon and the middle school boys will run at 12:30 p.m.
Aberdeen Roncalli is also scheduled to compete in the meet.
