Ipswich boys, Potter County girls win XC titles

GETTYSBURG – The Ipswich boys placed three runners among the top five, while the Potter County girls had three in the top four on the way to winning their respective team titles during the Battler Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.

Nicholas Schlachter of Potter County won the boys’ race. Dylan Wald, Xavier Kadlec and Turner Thorson of Ipswich finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Autumn Fallis of Highmore-Harrold won the girls’ race. Dannika Kaup, Jaydn Ahlemeier and Emma Schlachter of Potter County finished second, third and fourth, respectively. Potter County also had two runners who finished seventh and eighth (Rayel Persoon and Paige Ahlemeier).
