MILBANK – The Milbank Area cross country squads swept the team championships at the Grandstay Invitational on Saturday.
The Bulldogs scored 34 points in the boys’ division and 35 in the girls’ division.
Payton Brown of Milbank Area won the boys’ individual race by nearly 19 seconds. Kaleb Foltz of Tri-State was second.
Faith Wiese of Flandreau won the girls’ race. Halle Bauer of Great Plains Lutheran was second, followed by Ashlynn Batchelor of Milbank Area and Madison Zirbel of Waubay-Summit in third and fourth, respectively.
