PIERRE – Aberdeen Roncalli split of pair of tennis duals Tuesday at the Pierre triangular, falling to the host Governors 9-0 and defeating Rapid City Central 7-2.

The Cavaliers round the going rough against Pierre, however won a trio of close matches against the Cobblers.

River Haskell edged her opponent 10-8 at flight two singles, Keira Rivett won a tiebreaker to secure her victory at flight four singles, and the tandem of Raley Haskell and Anna Mitzel edged their opponents 10-8 in a breaker to record the win at flight two doubles.

Katherine Kretchman, Raley Haskell and Mitzel also won singles matches against RCC, while Kretchman and River Haskell teamed for a doubles triumph.

Roncalli heads to Sioux Falls for another triangular on Saturday. The Cavaliers will face Yankton and Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
