MILBANK – Aberdeen Roncalli split a pair of tennis matches Tuesday at a Triangular in Milbank. The Cavaliers dropped a 6-3 decision to Lennox, but rebounded for a 5-4 win over Milbank Area.

River Haskell and Keira Rivett each won both of their singles matches on the day, Haskell at second flight and Rivett at fifth flight. Anna Mitzel and Josie Mitzel also won a singles match apiece, while the doubles team of Katherine Kretchman and Haskell claimed a win at No. 1 doubles. 

The third flight doubles tandem of Rivett and Josie Mitzel also claimed a win against Milbank Area.

Roncalli will host Sioux Falls Christian Saturday in a final tuneup ahead of the state tournament. Saturday’s match is set for 11 a.m. at the Northern State courts.
