The Aberdeen Wings outshot Austin Friday night, but came up short on the scoreboard in a 4-1 setback at the Odde Ice Center.

The visiting Bruins jumped out to a two-goal lead in the opening period. Alexander Gullichsen got one of those goals back before the end of the period, but Austin added two more goals in the second period to take control en route to the victory.

The Wings had 34 shots on goal compared to 29 for Austin, but Trent Wiemken was up to the challenge in goal for the Bruins with 33 saves.
