Aberdeen Central and Aberdeen Roncalli both moved up to number four in their respective classes in this week’s media football polls.

Central, winner of four straight, is now fourth in Class 11AA, and Roncalli, undefeated on the season, is now fourth in Class 11B.

The Golden Eagles play at third-rated Yankton on Friday, while the Cavaliers host Clark-Willow Lake on Thursday.

There is also a new number one in Class 11A as Dell Rapids takes over the top spot after previous number one West Central lost to Winner, the unanimous top team in Class 11B.

There were no changes in the nine-man polls this past week.

Warner continues to be rated number one in Class 9A and Herreid-Selby Area continues to be top rated in Class 9B with Hitchcock-Tulare second.

Hamlin is rated fourth in Class 9A and Sully Buttes is rated fourth in Class 9B.
