Eastern Coteau Conference all-conference football squads

The Eastern Coteau Conference has announced its all-conference football teams.

The 11-man squad has five members from conference champion Deuel, including Offensive MVP Owen Quail, Defensive Co-MVP Ronnie Begalka, and Coach of the Year Dustin Hourigan. Webster’s Brent Bearman was also Defensive Co-MVP.

The 9-man team is lead by four members from conference champion Florence-Henry including Defensive MVP Mehki Keller. The Offensive MVP is BoDell Davidson of Britton-Hecla, and Coach of the Year is Jacob Skogstad of Britton-Hecla.

Here is a look at the honorees:

11-Man

Deuel: Carver Nothem (Sr.), Owen Quail (Sr.), Trey Maaland (Jr.), Robbie Begalka (Jr.) and Ronnie Begalka (Sr.)

Clark-Willow Lake: Trey Huber (Sr.), Turner Fjelland (Sr.), Cole Heiman (Sr.), and Mitchell Larson (Sr.)

Webster: Brent Bearman (Jr.), Carson Mount (Jr.), and Ethan Opitz (Sr.)

Dakota Hills: Dylan Rumpza (So.), and Brooks Dolen, Dakota Hills (So.)

Honorable Mention: Deuel, Dominic Constant (Sr.) and Tate Kenyon (Sr.); Clark-Willow Lake, Elliot Bratland (So.), and Griffin Musser (So.); Webster: Gavin Sannes (Sr.); Dakota Hills: Caleb Miller (So.)

Offensive MVP: Owen Quail, Deuel.

Defensive MVP: Ronnie Begalka, Deuel, and Brent Bearman, Webster.

Coach of the Year: Dustin Hourigan, Deuel.
