Bemidji, Minn. – History was made for the Northern State University volleyball program on Saturday, as head coach Brent Aldridge became the all-time wins leader with a 4-set victory over Bemidji State. The win was the Wolves 18th of the season and 224th of Aldridge’s career.

HOW IT HAPPENED

·         Northern took the opening set with a score of 25-23, however Bemidji answered back with a 25-22 victory in set two

·         The Wolves responded and fast, sitting the Beavers down with set scores of 25-13 and 25-10 to seal the match

·         NSU hit .248 in the win and held BSU to a .181 attack percentage

·         Northern notched a match high 54 kills, 52 assists, 60 digs and 17 aces (season high)

·         Three Wolves recorded double figure digs led by Sally Gaul (16) and Madison Langlie was the leader on defense with 27 digs, as the lone Wolf in double digits
