Tyler Simon scored 10 points in the first four minutes of the second quarter to help Potter County open up an eight-point lead and the Battlers moved on to a 61-43 non-conference girls’ basketball victory over Ipswich during the Sacred Hoops Classic Friday afternoon at the Strode Center.

Simon finished with 17 points to lead Potter County, which improved to 4-0 on the season. Kayden Cronin contributed 15 points in the win.

Gabby Wald topped Ipswich with 11 points.
