MELLETTE – Six different players scored at least seven points as Northwestern picked up a 68-35 non-conference boys’ basketball win over Waverly-South Shore on Monday.

Chase Neiber led the balanced attack with 15 points. Jude Ortmeier, Lincoln Woodring and Quintin Fischbach each added 11, and Nathan Melius and Reilly Schmitt both finished with seven. Ortmeier also hauled down nine rebounds.

Waverly-South Shore received seven points from Troy Kneeland, and six apiece from Grant Holman and Landon Maag.
