IPSWICH – Ipswich used a 22-5 second-quarter surge to bolt past Herreid-Selby Area on the way to a 47-36 non-conference boys’ basketball win Friday night.

Tyler Hettich, Ian Beyers and Chet Peterson each scored eight points to lead the Tigers, who improved to 8-2 on the season. Beyers also added three assists and three steals.

Hunter Friend led a balanced attack for Herreid-Selby Area with nine points. Trevor Gill followed with eight.
