Aberdeen Central found out Sunday that pair of athletes will be representing the Golden Eagles at the State Gymnastics Meet this weekend at Golden Eagles Arena.
Masyn Schutter qualified in three events and teammate Izzy Loecker qualified in one. They will be competing during the Class AA individual portion of the state meet on Saturday. The team competition for Class AA and Class A will be on Friday. The Class A individual competition will be on Saturday as well.
“Masyn qualified for bars, vault and floor,” said Central coach Mickey Everson, “and Izzy Loecker qualified on bars after adding a new skill she just got. It paid off.”
